Trauma and Attachment Informed EMDR Therapy

New Roads Counseling - Marty Schwebel, LMFT

Providing psychotherapy for those who are overwhelmed with life

What is EMDR? Is it the right therapy for me?

April 29, 2019 by Marty

What the heck? Is this EMDR stuff like Hypnosis?

This week I want to encourage you to watch my video that clearly explains EMDR or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.

It’s not just for war induced PTSD

This therapeutic technique was developed in the 1980s in response to the rise of anxiety and depressive disorders being recognized in Vietnam War veterans but over time showed positive results for civilians struggling with a variety of non wartime trauma and abuse.

Proven to help …

Because I have personally experienced trauma and abuse, I am passionate to help others who struggle with anxiety and depression resulting from past traumatic or abusive events. I have dedicated two years of training and supervision to learning how to help others live whole and free lives with the help of EMDR.

Check out this video and click below if you would like to try EMDR.
