Trauma and Attachment Informed EMDR Therapy

New Roads Counseling - Marty Schwebel, LMFT

Providing psychotherapy for those who are overwhelmed with life

I was doing telehealth therapy before it was cool

May 14, 2020 by Marty

Before Covid-19 hit the planet, I was happily working in my private practice seeing on average about 25 clients per week in my Petaluma office and 5 of those clients were by video. I even have clients I’ve never met in person and I can say, from my experience, telehealth/online/video therapy can be very effective for many reasons. I’ve written prior blogs about the pros and cons of telehealth and I encourage you to see a therapist online if you are experiencing higher levels of hopelessness or despair in these uncertain times.

I’m posting the following video on social media today and I would appreciate it if you could watch it and repost on all of your social media platforms. That will definitely help more people get the help they need in a time when uncertainty of the future can cause higher levels of anxiety and depression.
